Fix for Frontpage2000 Error

When Web Outlook users try to create a new email or forward one they get a FrontPage 2000 installer pointing to the old inst server which will fail to install. This prevents them forwarding or creating the email.

This can be resolved by editing the following two registry keys:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\904021001E872D116BF00006799C897E\SourceList

                 Name                                   Type                                      Data
Modify: LastUsedSource              REG_EXPAND_SZ             n;1;\\wghinst01\AppsInst\Front_Office\MS FrontPage2000\

To read: LastUsedSource              REG_EXPAND_SZ             n;1;\\hhghinst01vm\sw_archive\AppsInst\Front_Office\MS FrontPage2000\

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\904021001E872D116BF00006799C897E\SourceList\Net

                 Name                                   Type                                      Data
Modify: 1                                             REG_EXPAND_SZ             \\wghinst01\AppsInst\Front_Office\MS FrontPage2000\

To read: 1                                            REG_EXPAND_SZ             \\hhghinst01vm\sw_archive\AppsInst\Front_Office\MS FrontPage2000\

Reboot

Now that the amendment has been made, the installation will complete properly.

This will not work via ‘connect network registry’ so you’ll need to RDP in or visit the PC.
